Long time Coming

Birthed in concept in 2003 by Derrick and Dane, the sports writers blok has been merely just a concept for 5 whole years. We had high hopes for where we wanted to take our concept, we had a website domain, a site map, and we even had a splash page for our soon to be website. We had all kinds of ideas for sections of the website, we were going BLOW UP. This is all based on one simple concept. WE CAN'T AGREE ON ANYTHING WHEN IT COMES TO SPORTS!!! We're both fanatics, we argue all the time, so we figured why not put this on the web so everybody can see it. Then we both were blessed with jobs that shot our careers in Information Technology through the roof. Dane moved to DC for his job, where he still resides today, Derrick stayed in Charlotte for his job. So our vision lost most of it's steam. We tried again to revive the Blok (sports writers blok) a couple of years later to no avail. But now, in the age of blogs where it's easy for everybody to have a voice, we have decided to awake the sleeping giant. We have decided to let you into our world. The Blok never died, and it never will. We are just now letting the rest of the world into our world. A world where agreement is rare, and insight is a plenty.
